My Question or Issue

Hi, so I have this issue that I cannot control my SONOS device (Symfonisk) with my Spotify app from my PC anymore. It simply can't find the speaker.

On my iPhone though it sees my SONOS device (and even my FireTv Stick). Once I choose my SONOS speaker inside the iOS app as the playback device, it switches on the PC app, too. Only then I am able to control Spotify from my PC while it's playing on the speaker (as seen in "spotify2" attachment).

When using the SONOS app, i can also play songs from Spotify without problems, only that I cannot see what it's playing inside my Spotify app (as seen on "spofity1" attatchment). When I switched to my speaker with my iOS app and then click on a new song within my SONOS app, the same thing starts again: the Spotify App can't see the speaker anymore, even tho it plays music from it.

My PC is connected via cable; speaker and iPhone on WiFi. Shouldn't be a problem though, since they're in the same subnet, also it did work until like two weeks ago. and my PC app is able to spot my iOS app as soon as I open it on the phone. So the problem seems to be with SONOS.

It doesn't make a difference if I use the SONOS web application or phone application.

What I did so far:

- Reinstalled spotify

- Restarted Router/WiFi/PC/Speaker

- Relinked my Spotify Account at SONOS

- Updated my OS and all affected apps

Okay, I was able to solve this my own. My OS' firewall blocked the network traffic. After "whitelisting" the internal IP of my speaker, my PC can now detect it again.
